We're the Homegrown Travelers!

You can call us Grace and Tyler. We're all friends here!

We began our national park adventure with our honeymoon in 2022, when we visited seven national parks and two national monuments in a single trip! Since then, we've dove headfirst into travel. Our goal is to eventually visit all 63 United States national parks. Our passion for exploration led us to create this travel blog, where we share our experiences with fellow adventurers like you!

This is a space where we write about our journey, the places we've been, and the people we've met along the way. We hope to inspire you to embark on your own adventures and explore the beauty of God's creation. So sit back, relax, and join us on our adventures!
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to reach out to us. We would love to hear from you!

Frequently asked questions

How do you have the vacation time for all of these trips?

We’ve been blessed with excellent jobs with lots of vacation time! Tyler works for the USDA and Grace works for a pharmaceutical research company, so they are generous employers. As a newly married couple, this flexibility and freedom is not lost on us. We are so thankful and blessed to have these opportunities!

Why are you taking so many trips at once?

We’re young. We have big plans to start a family and a farm, but we haven’t gotten there yet. So, we’re making the most of our time together while we aren’t “tied down”!

You seem to really love your trips. Do you want to move out to one of the states you’ve visited?

Grace’s new catchphrase has become, “The more I travel, the more I love living in Ohio!” We both agree that Ohio is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. There are very few natural threats (bears are scary), there are plenty of jobs, grocery stores and gas stations are abundant, and the cost of living isn’t terrible. That being said, we’ve both realized that we really like the state of Utah. Like, really like it. We’ve decided that we wouldn’t mind having a retirement house in Utah, so in 50 years, that’s probably where you can find us!
